He has built and led multiple firms—including Angeles Madison Residential (AMR) and Angeles Group—transforming boutique operations into production-level builders capable of delivering single-family, townhome, and small to mid-sized multifamily projects at scale across urban infill and scattered-site markets. Known for creating operational frameworks that mirror the discipline and efficiency of large production homebuilders, Adam has overseen every stage of the real estate lifecycle, from raising capital and building leadership teams to managing construction operations with precision and consistency. Samuel Sapp is a seasoned executive and licensed general contractor with over 20+ years of leadership in residential real estate development and construction, recognized for his ability to build, scale, and optimize companies to operate with the efficiency and discipline of production homebuilders.
As Co-Founder & President of Pacifica Urban Builders, he leads Southern California's premier vertically integrated infill development firm, uniting entitlement, design, and construction to deliver multifamily, townhome, and single-family projects at production scale—while maintaining quality and community trust. Previously, as COO of Angeles Madison Residential (AMR), Sam institutionalized SOPs, KPIs, and project systems that de-risked projects and compressed timelines, and as VP at Thomas James Homes, he scaled operations four-fold in 90 days, directed 200+ professionals, and helped deliver 1,600+ scattered-site luxury single-family homes, sustaining production of 20 homes per month over many years across challenging urban infill markets.
With a proven track record of managing more than a billion dollars in assets and thousands of units, Sam is known as a systems architect and transformational leader who blends financial acumen, operational innovation, and disciplined execution to grow residential construction firms into scalable, high-performance enterprises capable of consistent, production-level delivery.

Douglas Slayton is a senior experienced real estate developer and entrepreneur, with over 30 years of expertise in successfully managing large-scale, complex development projects and entrepreneurial businesses. His comprehensive responsibilities span all aspects of the development process, including site selection, acquisition, operations, planning, design, construction, financing, and leasing. His portfolio of experience features a wide range of projects, including residential, self-storage, mixed-use, industrial, and retail properties, reflecting his proficiency in and adaptability to virtually all types of real estate development.
Mr. Slayton's distinctive approach to real estate development is informed by his academic background in Industrial Design. He initiates each project with a designer's perspective, meticulously crafting master plans that emphasize both aesthetic appeal, functional efficiency, buildability and economic optimization. Furthermore, his strong organizational skills and comprehensive understanding of the construction process ensure seamless coordination among all trades, leading to the successful completion of high-quality projects within tight timelines. In his role, Mr. Slayton selects and oversees both the architectural and engineering teams, fostering collaboration to achieve optimal results in each development endeavor.
